Insects are mother natures ingenious solution to biowaste for almost 199 million year. Since the Triassic Period, natures 120,000 species of insects have broken down, recycled and cleaned up biowaste using the worlds most up-to-date antibiotics that they naturally produce. They are also part of natural food chain of many type animals including chicken, pets, and fish .
The Black Soldier Fly
Lieutenant of up-cycling
Some insects are better at recycling certain nutrients. The black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) is the best recycler for food waste on the planet. Its key player in bringing our vision to life. The larvae eat and grow with military efficiency.The adult fly has no biting apparatus and doesn't eat waste of any sort. That is why this species is not associated with perstering people, transmitting diseases or doing much at all.
Biowaste and nutrient deficiency in livestock is emerging problem in Mongolia due increasing wealth and land degradation. Our solution is: bioconversion of organic waste with agents of insect into insect-based protein, oil and fertiliser.
